Soar above it all!

Some indications of living a fake life, full of plastic promises and empty jargon which you  know you’ve not accepted and begun living your authentic life if:
1. You feel wishy-washy
2. Feel afraid
3. Are hiding from your true desires
4. Don’t understand why you’re unhappy, afraid, stressed, angry…
5. Are trying to please anyone but yourself
6. Don’t feel worthy
7. Expect the worse to happen
8.  Focus on revenge or getting even
9. Feel paranoid that others hate you or are trying to get you
10. Don’t know what your true gifts are

When you speak impeccably about yourself, and with others, you have a sense of completeness and acceptance for who you are and what you can accomplish. This  instills pride in your endeavors, a peace about the future, an acceptance of the past, and appreciation for the moment.
I talked to you some on a podcast about Impeccability of speech but to reaffirm this, it is knowing who you are and your best qualities. Its asserting these to yourself instead of running the same old program your received from childhood, work, friendships or partners. This is who you really are, the best of you and understanding that you are human, and not perfect.

You are dreaming right now, while awake. Everything you believe and understand is a projection of what you’ve been exposed to or taught. As children some of you were taught to be silent, “children should be seen and not heard” or that “silence is golden” among other cliché’s.  If you wanted to be “loved” by your family, you had to accept their “rules” so that you’d receive love and get along in your family circle.

It is my belief and that of the humanistic psychology teachers such as Carl Rogers, that all people have an innate drive to want to self actualize. In laymen terms, this means, you want to become the best you that you can be. But, many times you are missing the key element to this self actualization which is being unconditionally accepted. It is a parents Universal role to accept and love their children unconditionally but in a world of *me, me, me*, most people aren’t getting this secure foundation with which to build their life dreams and purpose upon.

Acceptance by your parents then turns inward as you learn to accept yourself, for being a good and loving individual, capable of great things, no matter your humanistic faults. Your concept then becomes one of belief in others as a whole as being good innately, and your entire perception of life grows from that. Imagine no more road rage, or cutting lines, and outrage when a person had to wait on a phone line to receive help from a technician?

Not many of you have ever received this type of acceptance, so I am here to give this to you, right now! Complete and utter acceptance just for who you are at this moment.I’ve known sorrow and I understand what it feels like to be judged falsely but in truth only you know your reasons for doing something. I am human just like you, cloaked in understanding, and I can only look at it this way, I was given this gift to give to you. Unconditional acceptance, which crosses all barriers and yes I get it, all of it, because you see I have felt some of those same things and loved myself anyway.
Despite the ridicule, or criticism, and trust me it will come, of others,  you should know that all of these people first have their own self hate contaminating their judgments. So, when they judge you, they are first judging themselves and showing you how miserable they are.
Does a happy man go out and seek to destroy someone in their path, or do they offer their hand in friendship? Does a happy woman tear down her children and seek to destroy their vision and does a happy child bully others at school, and pick on the smallest, smartest or cutest of the class?
If your answer is no, then what can we say, but  how many people are walking around in their own misery?

Pleasures Signs by Edgar A Guest-
There’s a bump on his brow and a smear on his cheek that is plainly the stain of his tears;
At his neck there’s a glorious sun-painted streak, The bronze of his happiest years.
Oh, he’s battered and bruised at the end of the day, But smiling before me he stands, and somehow
I like to behold him that way, yes, I like him with dirt on his hands.
Last evening he painfully limped up to me, his tale of adventure to tell; he showed me a grime-covered
cut on his knee, and told me the place where he fell.
His clothing was stained to the color of clay, and he looked to be nobody’s lad, but somehow I liked
to behold him that way, for it spoke of the fun that he’d had.
Let woman-folk prated as they will of a boy who is heedless of knickers and shirt;
I hold that the badge of of young fellow’s joy are the cheeks that are covered with dirt.
So I look for him nightly to greet me that way, his joys and misfortunes to tell, for I know by the
signs that he wears of his play that the lad I’m so fond of is well. From The Path to Home, Copyright 1919.

Are you well dear friend?

There are things in life which contribute to the ongoing stress. Among those some might be considered of the top 10 stressors.

The top 10 stressors are:
1. Death of a loved one
2. Divorce or breakup
3. Losing job
4. Finances/debt
5. Work
6.  Health
7.  Personal relationships
8.  Not enough time
9. Major life changes
10. Conflict

We all have stressed filled moments and have probably experienced stress or anxiety over something or someone in the last week. You can alleviate this feeling which produces more of the same vibration around you by practicing a simple heart coherence moment. This can be done anywhere without anyone even knowing you are doing it. It will bring you back to your authentic self, balancing your emotions and mental as well as adding focus, vitality and energy. It clears  negative and unwanted thoughts and vibrates this beautiful resonant energy throughout your body which is healing in many ways.

Heart Coherence
Focus on the center of your chest, where your heart chakra is located.
Imagine a circle there, or place your hand there for added emphasis.
Breathe normally but deeply, feeling your breath enter through this circle.
Reflect back on a happy moment while continuing to breath in through your heart chakra.
Do this for one minute.

In the book, The Prophet by Kahil Gibbran a passage reads, “ He sits alone on hill-tops and looks down upon our city.”
‘True it is that I have climbed the hills and walked in remote places. How could I have seen you save from a great height or a great distance? How can one be indeed near unless he be far?’
And others among you called unto me, not in words, and they said, “Stranger, stranger, lover of unreachable heights, why dwell you among the summits where eagles build their nests? Why seek you the unattainable? What storms would you trap in your net, and what vaporous birds do you hunt in the sky? Come and by one of us. Descend and appease your hunger with our bread and quench your thirst with our wine.”
In the solitude of their souls they said these things; but were their solitude deeper they would have known that I sought but the secret of your joy and your pain, and I hunted only your larger selves that walk the sky.
But the hunger was also the hunted; for many of my arrows left my bow only to seek my own breast, and the flier was also the creeper; for when my wings were spread in the sun their shadow upon the earth was a turtle. And I the believer was also the doubter; for often have I put my finger in my own wound that I might have the greater belief in you and the greater knowledge of you. And it is with this belief and this knowledge that I say, You are not enclosed within your bodies, nor confined to houses or fields, that which is you dwells above the mountain and roves with the wind. It is not a thing that crawls into the sun for warmth or digs holes into darkness for safety, but a thing free, a spirit that envelops the earth and moves in the ether.” Copyright 1923.

You are bigger than the immediacy of life’s great conflicts and your spirit is able to soar high above it all.
Fly high today, see from a distance, connect with those you love, and love yourself first.
